Daniele Radini Tedeschi

Daniele Radini Tedeschi, art critic and curator. Born in Rome, he graduated in History of Modern Art at “La Sapienza” University of Rome.

Radini Tedeschi is the Commissioner of the Guatemala Pavilon of the 56. Biennale di Venezia (2015) and the curator of Guatemala Pavilion of the 57.Biennale di Venezia (2017).

He has published significant contributions on Michelangelo Merisi, such as “Caravaggio” (2012, La Rosa dei Venti) and “Caravaggio o della Vulgata” (2012, De Luca Editori d’Arte).

He has appeared frequently on television programs (Raiuno, Raidue, Raitre, Mediaset) to illustrate discoveries of paintings.

He has given lectures and conferences at the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei and at the Accademia di San Luca. In 2011 he was assistant supervisor of thesis at “La Sapienza” University of Rome. He has published several books on art history and is the expert of ancient paintings at the Antonina auction house.

He has been the artistic director of the events “Serate a Via Giulia” organized to celebrate the five hundredth anniversary of Via Giulia in Rome; he has organized exhibitions in institutional and private venues, he was the curator of the Triennale di Roma.
