Start is a publishing house, specialized mainly in art publications, and at the same time operates in the fields of temporary exhibitions. The company, thanks to the collaboration with other important organizations and institutions, tries to make every activity and every artistic experience an opportunity for cultural innovation, overlapping of languages and experimentation. Among the events managed by the Start there are also several National Pavilions in the Venice Biennale Art and Architecture<\/strong>. As a publishing house, Start manages the oldest and most important contemporary art yearbook “Atlas of Contemporary Art”<\/strong>.<\/p>

The first edition of the \u201cEsposizione Triennale di Arti Visive a Roma\u201d was in 2002. In 2023 it is twenty years since the birth of the event, with seven editions behind it. The last edition would have been in 2020 but COVID-19 has moved the date to 2021. The event has no public contributions and is supported by private sponsors such as Galleries, Archives, Foundations, Cultural Partners. There were several prestigious exhibition venues where the exhibition took place: La Sapienza University of Rome, Central National Library of Castro Pretorio, Chiostro del Bramante Museum, Venanzo Crocetti Foundation Museum, Vittoriano Monumental Complex, Galleria Borghese, San Salvatore Museums in Lauro of the Pio Sodalizio dei Piceni.<\/p>

The Start company appoints an Artistic Director every three years with the task of indicating the theme, selecting the artists and drawing up the official catalog. The current Artistic Director for the 2023 edition is Stefania Pieralice<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
